Everyone should be able to find our hours, prices and programs and plan a visit, regardless of ability or the technology they use. This statement describes what we’ve done to make quarryridgegc.com accessible and how to reach us if something doesn’t work for you.
1. Our Commitment
Quarry Ridge Golf Center is working to make our website usable by people with disabilities, including people who use screen readers, keyboard navigation, voice control, magnification or captions. We review the site as we add new pages and features, and we fix problems as we find them.
2. Standard We Follow
We aim to meet the Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG) 2.2, Level AA, published by the World Wide Web Consortium (W3C). These guidelines explain how to make web content more accessible for people with a wide range of disabilities.
3. Accessibility Features
- Keyboard friendly: menus, dropdowns, FAQs, tabs, forms and the range pass calculator work without a mouse, with visible focus outlines.
- Skip link: a “Skip to content” link lets keyboard users bypass the menu.
- Screen reader support: meaningful headings, labeled form fields, descriptive link text and alternative text for photos.
- Reduced motion: if your device is set to reduce motion, scroll animations, parallax and count-up effects are turned off.
- Light and dark mode: choose the color scheme that’s easiest on your eyes; we also follow your device setting.
- Readable text: high-contrast colors, text that resizes with browser zoom up to 200%, and layouts that adapt to phones, tablets and desktops.
- Click to call: every page has a one-tap phone link for anyone who prefers to talk to a person.
4. Accessibility at the Course
If you or someone in your group needs an accommodation to enjoy the course, range or mini golf, please call the pro shop at (734) 888-1020 before your visit. Our staff will gladly let you know what to expect and help however we can.
5. Known Limitations
Some content comes from third-party services we don’t fully control, including the embedded Google map, the YouTube course video and our customer review widget. We choose providers with accessibility in mind, but these embeds may not fully meet WCAG standards. The same information (address, directions and reviews) is available elsewhere on the page in accessible text, and you can always call us.
6. Feedback & Assistance
If you run into a barrier on our website, please tell us. Include the page address and a short description of the problem, and we’ll do our best to fix it and get you the information you need in another way in the meantime.
