Birthday parties can get complicated fast: bounce-house rentals, entertainers, cleaning up the house afterward. If you’re near Toledo, Sylvania, Temperance or Lambertville, here’s a simpler idea that kids love: a mini golf party.
Why mini golf works for parties
Every age can play. Toddlers, teenagers and grandparents can all play the same course. Nobody sits on the sidelines.
It’s naturally social. Groups move hole to hole together, chatting, cheering and trash-talking.
It’s affordable. Regular mini golf at Quarry Ridge is $8 per person for ages 6 and up and $3 for kids 5 and under, and group discounts are available.
There’s no cleanup at your house. You show up, play, celebrate and head home.
How to plan a mini golf party
- Pick a date and rough headcount. Mini golf is seasonal, so plan for the warmer months.
- Send us an inquiry. Use the form on our Parties & Groups page with your date, number of guests and anything you have in mind. Or call the pro shop at (734) 888-1020.
- We’ll follow up to confirm availability and group pricing.
- Show up and play. Check in at the pro shop and let the kids loose.
Make it memorable
Turn it into a tournament. Hand out scorecards and give a small prize for low score, best trick shot and “most holes-in-one.”
Team up. Pair younger kids with older siblings or parents.
Add the range. Older kids love hitting a bucket at the driving range. It’s a fun “level up” after mini golf.
Plan for supervision. Kids 7 and under should be with an adult on the course.
Winter birthday?
Mini golf closes for the winter, but the heated driving range is open all winter. A “range night” in the heated stalls is a great option for teens and adults, even in January.
